Its not a big one but Merchants are really easy to get now, and trade ideas wasnt good before and its even worse now. I really think Europe should be treated as one region not split into two.
Poland and Russia can turn Sweden or austria into Trade Companies. Īnd for Venice you had to rely off of massive vassals to be able to connect trade through Egypt. The new trade company system is mostly good, though it doesnt fix some of the flaws with tcs, feels really wonky sometimes, and in someways made some unhistorical behavior worse.įor Russia and the Commonwealth its great, pushing trade from China to Central Asia before was horrible both because it required a ton of merchants and because you had to leave a lot of territories.
